Individual Counseling

Whether you’re dealing with challenges at work or at home, you can talk to a counselor to find the right solution. We offer easy to access counseling services for eligible individuals.

What individual counseling covers

Up to three short-term counseling sessions per issue for you are a household adult family member. Any session after your third will be billed to your insurance. You can use this service multiple times a year, as long as it is for different concerns. 

Typical concerns include:

  • Workplace concerns
  • Grief and loss
  • Interpersonal conflicts
  • Anxiety, depression, or trauma
  • Addiction and recovery
  • Stress management
  • Mental wellness
  • Parenting or eldercare support

Your counseling sessions are confidential. We won't share your concerns with anyone except when required by law.

Eligibility

You are eligible for this service if you’re:

  • An employee of an Executive Cabinet agency
  • An employee of a contracted public organization
  • A household adult family member of an eligible employee

Note: We don't provide counseling to anyone under 18 years old.

Not all public employers are enrolled with us. Contact your human resources to see if you’re eligible for Washington State EAP services.
