Financial consultations
Through Work/Life, you can talk to a financial expert about your situation. Financial experts are available without an appointment during regular work hours, and by appointment on Saturdays. All consultations are free.
You can also access a library of financial articles, tip sheets, financial calculators, and other tools to answer your questions in the Work/Life portal.

- Comprehensive financial fitness
- Credit report review
- Debt reduction and management
- Estate planning
- Financial planning
- Foreclosure prevention
- Housing education and purchasing
- Long-term goal setting
This doesn’t cover advice about specific financial services, comparison of financial services or products, or help filing taxes.
Legal consultations
Through Work/Life, you can talk to a legal consultant to decide which legal resources best meet your needs. You can then decide if you want to receive free legal advice from a general practice attorney or a free 30-minute consultation with a local attorney in our referral network.
You can also access an online will-maker and a library of do-it-yourself legal forms, including basic wills, legal articles, and tip sheets in the Work/Life portal.
This service covers:

- Real estate and landlord issues
- Bankruptcy
- Adoption
- Criminal
- Elder care
- Wills, trusts, and estate planning
- Consumer issues
This doesn’t cover work-related issues, personal business, class action lawsuits, or tax-related issues.
Eligibility
You can only access these services if you work for an organization that includes Work/Life in their EAP benefits.
Note: Not all EAP organizations include Work/Life access. If you're not sure if yours does, contact your human resources office.
